I have the pitch detection Xtra, which work great. I have spoken to you about the error with some realtek sound cards. The error seems to be on more machines than I thought. As a work around, if you do not yet have a fix, is to open the windows audio mixer from director 11. Do you know how to do this? Can you help please.

sorry, but I still don't have a fix. About opening the Windows Mixer, it should be possible either using the standard 'open' command of DIrector or with other Xtras enabling to launch external apps : the only thing is that you should find the path to the mixer .exe (there must be one...).
On what other soundcards does the problem happen ?
