I've been using this xtra for a while now with no issues.

Today, we sent a longer string that includes an
"=" in the string and it won't send out of director.

I'm not sure if it's the length, or a prohibited character. String is as follows:

!eea1=1001#

this is not normal. UDP should just transmit any byte, whatever it is.
Are you sure that it is the '=' character that is the problem ?
What about the length of the data ?
Could you give me a sample code of how you use it ?
